A native of Brooklyn, New York, Ed moved to Miami with his family in 1957. Ed attended the University of Miami and studied Accounting. He prepared tax returns part time at client’s homes in the evenings, after school and on weekends. Ed has worked in the Accounting Departments of several large companies honing his skills. He opened his first office on Pembroke Road in Hollywood, Florida in 1964. Santos Associates became incorporated in 1973.

Ed Santos earned his Enrolled Agent designation (a federal tax designation and license similar to a tax attorney) in 1979. He earned his Certified Financial Planner designation from The College for Financial Planning in 1984. Ed Santos is known for finding the best ways to work within the tax law to benefit you, our client. Ed also is a Florida Licensed Insurance Agent offering Fixed Annuities & Life Insurance and is a non-competing Florida Licensed Real Estate Broker. Ed Santos has written newspaper columns on income tax and has been featured in many taxation articles over the years. He has given presentations at business seminars & conventions and has been featured on various local radio stations. Ed participates in seminars offered by the IRS, Social Security Administration and the State of Florida while earning Continuing Professional Education (CPE) credits.
